I just put in some salmon to smoke for the weekend. Left and right Auber Windows are showing H and the element is not turning on. Typically I see H on the right when I am not using the meat probe but H on the left is new.
Did this get answered elsewhere? I had the same problem on my 3-D. I realized after awhile that I had inadvertently placed a bag of chips for my charcoal smoker on top of my Smokin-It smoker, covering the vent. Was this a death nail?
I don't know if this has been covered elsewhere but my first thought would be to swap the probes to see if anything changes. I would think that if the box temp probe had failed then the element wouldn't be commanded on - otherwise the element would be running continuously.
