New to Smoking

I am new to smoking. My husband, who passed, used to do all of the smoking. I so badly want to figure this smoker out - but the instructions are so hard to follow.
I want to smoke a porkbutt - and somehow managed to get the temp set to 225 -- but have no idea how to set the time or the probe temperature. This has got to be easier or I am going to give up.
HELP!

Hello- Below are the instructions, see pages 5 and 6. You managed to set the smoker temp and you are almost there. You will follow the same procedures as you did earlier but now you will select the food internal temp, or desired cook time. If an instruction says to hold a button down for 2 seconds do so - you will see the change. May I suggest that you read through this carefully and maybe in your own language write down the steps to follow in a manner you are comfortable with. Writing them out helped me years ago.
