Welcome, Gunner!  We're glad you're here.  Just a quick tip on seasoning - don't worry about monitoring the temperature during seasoning with an empty smoker.  Temps are all over the place, and it is not how it will perform full.  Hang out when you can, contribute to the discussions, and let us know how we can help!

Great choice on the #3, but I may be a bit biased.
