Mixing Rub

So getting the brown sugar balls completely out of my rub has always been a challenge.  This morning, in an act of frustration, I put the rub in my new Vitamx mixer and voilà.  What I got out was a very finely pulverized rub very evenly mixed.

Does anyone else put their rubs through mixer?

I have tried it a few times with good results... just a few pulses and its ready. Learned my lesson before about leaving it on to long.

I generally just use the back of a spoon.  Not perfect but works well enough.

I bought a cheap blade type coffee grinder and dedicate it to spices/rubs.  Just a quick couple pulses and everything is back to normal.
