Actually using the Kitchenaid with the attachment :-\ really want to up my game a notch what are you guys using? http://www.amazon.com/LEM-Products-W779A-Stainless-Electric/dp/B010DNIEJW/ref=dp_ob_title_sports is really calling my name... good choice? any suggestion?

They work awesome! I have a #12 .75HP version that has ground thousands of pounds of meat over the past 10 years or so.

I would say, to get the biggest one you can afford.

I wish mine had the new "Big Bite" technology that the new ones have though.

I have run a lot of meat through my #8 LEM in the past few years. It runs great. Take the time to cut your meat small enough and you wont have to use the plunger, small cubes or long strips.

With the wider hopper and new design of the Big Bite, you shouldn't have to cut your meat down as much as the older style. It is still not a bad idea to cut your meat into manageable pieces though.

The big bite is nice, but the hopper on the #8 is not overly large. I cut pieces to easily drop down the feed tube.

got a little surprise coming back from work today 8)
