First time- happy ribs!

Hey everyone newbie here. Bought a 2D and did two racks of BBRibs for my first cook. They came out very good and it was so easy! After years off struggling with kamados, pellets etc, this smoker was set it and forget it. I really like that! I followed Lazy Qs directions like a dutiful robot, applying Killer Hogs BBQ rub the night before. It was a perfect day for smoking here in northern Nevada (no wind!) and after 4.5 hours @235 the ribs passed the Sarge Toothpick Test. I wrapped the ribs in butcher paper/towels/rest in cooler. I like cooking this way because I can clean everything up before we eat dinner versus having to do it after. After unwrapping, I slathered on some Kinders bbq sauce (it was all that I had in the cabinet) and went to town.

The ribs had a wonderful taste and separated from the bone easily. Wifey's salad and mashed sweet potatoes were perfect compliments to the ribs. It was so nice to not have to babysit the fire during the cook! Overall I'm very impressed with this smoker although now I'm wishing I would have got the 3D LOL. If I had to find room for improvement, I would say that the ribs were a little dry. Not terrible so...and I am nitpicking here... but it would be nice to have them a little more juicy. I used the second and fourth position for the ribs. The lower rack was a tiny bit darker but not appreciably different from the upper rack. I'll spend some time searching this forum for ideas and tips from the experienced cookers.

(I took some pics but am having trouble uploading them...)

Looking forward to more smoking adventures!
~Steve
