Was in a rush to smoke a loin recently so it had to go from store to smoker with little prep. I was bummed I'd not have time to brine it, so decided I might as well try a super simple injection to give it a kick.
I took some famous dave's BBQ sauce and thinned it with a bit of Teriyaki. Injected, mustard'd, Jeff's rub and into the 3D at 225 until 190IT, then a quick reverse sear and foiled for 20mins then ate! Tasted good and looked really cool
