Just carved my first brisket and it is awesome! 7 Hours @ 225 for a 4.7 lb brisket! Covered and let it sit for hour in the cooler! Like butter! Juicy, smoked meat loving paradise! Used a dry rub last night and putting this morning and never opened til I took it out 7 hours later. Gotta love...
What do you suggest using for injecting briskets etc? Where do you get? On-line or at brick/mortars? One last one....doing a 4.7 lb brisket today...how much wood do u suggest for a 7 hour smoke @ 225? Thanks.
I just picked up my Model #2 today and set it up for the recommended "seasoning" ...followed directions and saw smoke after a short while.....went back two hours later and noticed the "power" light was no longer lit.....is that normal....? Still smoking but wondering if I have a problem...
