Is it Possible to b build a smoke house/Smoke/BBQ pit combo?

I'm going to build a smoke house on my land so that I can cold smoke.

However I also want to build a pit that will smoke and BBQ meats etc.

It seems to me possible that you could design a setup that incorporates all of these.

Has anyone ever done this?
