I want to smoke a large brisket and 2 pork butts together in my #3. Anyone have any tips for me? I guestimate it will take a good 22 hrs at 235. Any ideas ?
Thanks for any tips you all might have!
1st smoke in#3. Couldn't wait to finish outdoor kitchen build. Took Divotmakers advise. Have been smelling unbelievable smoke and BBQ all day while working outside installing gas line for kitchen. I am loving this thing. Have 3 racks of ribs going sunce 10:30 am,6 hours. Put them in at low temp...
I ordered the model 3 yesterday. All the great posts in this forum convinced me that this is the right size for me . I've been tending to a Texas smoker for years now. It turns out great stuff, but I generally only use it for special occasions when we have lots of guests as its so much work!
Has anyone done a built-in of the model 3 (or any other Smokin-it smoker for that matter)? If so, how much room do I need to give it on the sides and back to allow for airflow or whatever? Note: It will not be near any combustible materials.
