Got the Sasha Flavor Saver, should I hang it or set it on the floor and should I place the 7# butt in the highest rack position ?

OK, I know it says in rules not to use one, but, and you saw the but coming, because the little guy only uses half the energy of the others (400w) why could you not use a heavy duty 25' cord ? Reason being I don't have an ideal location out of the weather. Anybody out there use one ?

Seasoning the #1 as I'm typing, I've noticed in most pics people leave the unit on top of the smoker, mine is pretty dang hot. I know I wont smoke at 250, but will it hold up 16 hours @ 225 repeatedly ? On a side note, does anybody have any experience good or bad with the TP20, had pretty good...
