    Got the PID on my 3D. how do i just set it to 225 and let it go? Do I have to go through all the program levels C-1 through C-6?     I just got my new 3D and I'm seasoning it right now. Went through the steps to set Co1 to 4 hours, set passed all the other settings and its holding at 250 +/-, but the time reads -H- what's that about?

    3D vs 3 with separate PID

    I'm getting ready to purchase and I'm thinking, that even though it may be a few bucks more to buy the PID controller separately, it will give me greater flexibility if I want to use the PID on a different smoker. any reason i shouldn't do that?
