    Getting better at this! Pork Shoulder

    Nothing really, just wanted to share, this seemed to go over really well, made it for a work food day, so I was hurried to get it pulled and forgot to take a picture. 7lb shoulder at about 14 hours with oak and pecan at 250.  Pulled around 200 IT.  Anyone else's shoulders take at least 2...

    Did a spatchcocked chicken here yesterday, 250 with 1.75 oz of pecan for about 3 hours on my 2D.     New 2D Owner

    New 2D should be delivered tomorrow, enough for the break-in and a practice session before Christmas day.  Pretty pumped.  I was the owner of an electric smoker for only a week or so, before I had to start troubleshooting it.  I'm not going to call them out, but it went through these wood pucks...
