    White smoke

    I have done 3 smokes on my 3. All of have seen is white smoke with the meat a tad bitter. I use smokinlicious wood and weigh before every smoke. Any ideas why I am not getting blue smoke.

    Seasoning process

    Started seasoning process with digital thermometer down the smoke hole to see temp. Reading. 15 minutes in, the thermometer showed 515 degrees and smoke was coming out the door and smoke hole at a pretty good rate, then I heard a loud woosh and a tremendous amount of smoke came out of the door...

    Heating element

    Seasoning my 3 now and noticed my heating element is not straight, should I be concerned about this?

    Newby from kansas

    Just got my 3 in today and prepped for seasoning tomorrow. I have never used a electric smoker in my 15 years of smokin. I did a lot of research and chose smokin-it. It looks like a quality smoker and the bonus is this forum that I found. I know if I have any troubles, i can ask. Super excited...
