Just threw in a 2lb ribeye.  Started programming the cook and the screen wen blank and the smoker won't turn on.  checked circuit breakers as well as the outlet and all working just fine.  Any ideas?  I guessing my PID is broken.

I am planning on smoking two 4.9 lb. BB.  Would I be better off tying them together to make one butt or should I put them in the smoker separated? 

Newbie here and writing my first post.  Recently purchased a 3d and want to auto tune it today.  Looks like we may get a rain shower or two throughout the day.  I will be using it on my uncovered deck and was wondering if the pid can get wet.  Not sure what the IP rating is for it or if it even...
