Do you have any friends that like to do wood working and have a band saw? You could buy the wood chunks from Walmart garden department or your local hardware store and have a friend cut them down to the size you need.

New here. Just got a Smokin It mod 3 about 6 months ago and now adding the Auber wifi model 1520 this weekend, after doing this bypass. Thanks so much for this great tutorial and look forward to many more tips and tricks here.
