    Two Different Aubers -- Much different settings

    I have a #2 and bought the Auber 1200 and it worked well.  Our back porch was broken into and the thief took the Auber.  I purchased a new Auber 1200 and did the auto tune.  The Settings on the new Auber after several auto tunes are P= 22, I=293 and D=73.  All the auto tunes were pretty close...

    Auber PID Result -- OK?

    I just installed the permanent temperature probe and disconnected the analog controller by bridging the wires together as shown here in this forum.  Everything seems to work good -- when the Auber output light is on so is the red light on the smoker (#2 smoker).  I set up the initial program...

    Probe Placement model 2

    I just got my Auber for the model 2 (Auber - WS).  At present I do not intend to buy the permanent probe.  What is the best placement for the drop in probe?  Do you just drop it in thru the hole in the top and let it hang or do you try to anchor it to a rack, etc.?
