    Chicken Kabobs

    I want to make some chicken kabobs in my #1 .  Any advice? Wood skewer? Chicken, a wedge of onion, green/red pepper, and some cherry tomatoes.  Can I assemble all the ingredients on 1 skewer or a skewer for each ingredient. I usually do these on the grill and sometimes the chicken is not done...

    Pork Loin - My first smoke

    I fired up my new #1 yesterday for its first smoke.  There were 2 loins in the package for a total of 2.5 lbs.  I used about 3 ounces of Apple wood and targeted meat temp of 155° and smoker temp of 250°. I generously put a rub on (Steve's basic BBQ rub) and put it the fridge for 2 hours...
