    Pulled pork seasoning

Have you ever tried adding a little seasoning to the pork after you pull it? A friend of mine just recently gave me some seasoning they mixed up and you sprinkle it on the pork after you pull it. It was really good, it really wakes up the flavor of the meat that isn't close to the bark. They...

Made some baked beans in my SI2, saw a recipe the other day that sounded good so gave it a shot. Threw in some pulled pork and bacon and threw them in the smoker at 325 for a couple hours. Now what to try next....to be continued...

Here is a pic of the wings I made last week. Just used a homemade rub a friend gave me and smoked them with 2 ounces of cherry @ 250 for 2 1/2 hours. Came out perfect.

Tried a different rub (McCormicks chicken rub) and didn't care for it, but gave me an idea of how they will turn out. My briner jr arrived today so didn't have time to brine these but wow they were moist...

    First time smoking pork shoulder

Bought a 9 pound bone in pork shoulder at the local meat market and tried to do the reverse math to see when I would have to start the process to have it done by 6pm Saturday. Did a brine for 12 hours, applied rub and got in the smoker at 4am Saturday morning. Did a ramp up to 225 and had a pan...

    Hey Everybody!

I have been browsing this site for a couple months now so thought I should say hey. I purchased a model 2 direct from Steve about a month ago and love it. I am new to smoking so this site has been invaluable to me.  After seasoning my smoker, I made some ribs that were pretty good and made some...
