I don't use sauce I use Roma tomatoes with a touch of sugar and garlic and olive goes down first. Also highly recommend breakfast sausage.
The other was a pizza I tried overseas and was awesome
It had ham artichoke hearts and peas

Have you tried the
real
(certified) San Marzano tomatoes? I recently made the switch for all my Italian cooking - wow!

Being that this is part of a smoking forum, I'd think that a pizza would be ripe for anything smoked as a topping. Home made Canadian bacon would be a natural topping. Brisket on a pizza is really bending my mind too.

I have added my homemade Canadian bacon to a Pineapple pizza that I bought at Papa Murphy's Take and Bake. Really kicks it up a notch.

I do sourdough crust on mine. Wouldn't have it any other way. Once you start down the make it yourself track any store bought doesn't cut it.

I've made pizza with SI smoked Canadian bacon (homemade crust and sauce, of course) - wow! It makes the pizzeria stuff pale in comparison!
