New to me #1
« on: July 17, 2020, 11:22:16 AM »
Acquired a very gently used Model #1 about a year ago and have been enjoying what's come out of it since purchased. Came with the James Jerky Dryer, which was never used. Initially, I completely cleaned it, re-seasoned it and started smoking!!! Quickly realized that it was way too close to the ground to be user friendly. I knew I wanted it on wheels, so I convinced my employer that they had one too many stainless steel lab carts. A few nights of messing around out in the garage and here we have it. Two shelves under for accessories, fold down side shelves for easy storage. A little top heavy, but it has worked out great.

Welcome from Delaware, Steve!   Nice way to re-purpose a lab cart!

Got to have a cart, can't smoke without one.
I really like the stainless steel cart you found.
