Please forgive me!
« on: May 13, 2018, 11:43:21 AM »
I have ribs for Mother’s Day sitting in some rub. The weather is not cooperating and I need a plan B. I am going to use my gas grill to smoke my ribs. I cant use my garage with a fan. This will be the first time I will be making ribs via the gas grill. I think i have a good recipe. 310 degrees for 1.5 hours each side. Cooking to 185.

My go to is place ribs in a roaster after you have the rub on at 225 for 2 hr, then place on grill for 2 more hrs using indirect heat at 225. Indirect heat ribs on one side heat on the other end.

Ed- If you want the ribs to get some smoke, a chunk or two of your favorite wood in heavy foil with a few holes piercing the foil, placed over one of the grill burners. Then it is pretty much how you want to finish off:  in an oven, indirect on the grill, wrapped, etc.
