Temperature swing on 2D
«

Smoked Salmon today. Set 2D at 170 degree. Saw temperature swing between 161 and 174 degrees. I’ve smoked brisket and pork butt at 225 degrees and only saw a 2 to 3 degree swing in the temperature on my 2D. Any thoughts on this unusual temperature swing at the 170 degree setting?
Thanks,
Bugman

I would not worry about it. With the lack of mass, salmon versus brisket and butt, the swing will be more noticeable but still within the acceptable tolerance. Enjoy!
