Joe from Texas - Newbie
« on: August 07, 2018, 03:40:35 PM »
I’m a new member here and looking to get my first smoker!   I currently have a Weber grill and use a smoking box to add a little flavor, but want to get a real smoker as we enjoy the authentic taste of smoked food.   In particular, I’m looking forward to some great smoked salmon and brisket.   Currently, I’m eyeing a model 3 WiFi.    Sorry I missed the flash sale in announcements- I happened to be on the road in Michigan of all places (so close!)..  :D

Joe, I have no experience with a #3 WIFI but I own a #2 analog that I love. I smoke salmon, pork butts and baby back ribs often, also an occasional brisket. They always turn out great in these smokers.

Thanks, old sarge!

Although I have no direct military background, we lived off of Camelback in Phoenix for some time!  Beautiful state!
