Baby Back Ribs and Rib Hooks….
« on: May 08, 2015, 09:00:55 PM »
Getting ready to smoke a rack or two of baby back ribs.   There all ready to go for tomorrow, but was wondering if anyone can either explain how the rib hooks work or better yet have a picture of them in use.

I got them with the #2 when I ordered and really feel kind of stupid not understanding how they work.

Thanks a bunch

Hi Steve,
Steve(the owner of SI) clearly over-ordered a whole lot of rib hooks and gives them away free any chance he gets. You should ignore them-the rest of us do!

Just a quick tip, Steve - lay your ribs flat on the shelves, bone-side down.  Best results, every time! :D

Wow, was just about to order a rib rack or rib hooks--glad I checked the forum.  Have smoked a lot of ribs-bone down-but was hoping to get more ribs in smoker.  Guess it is better to invite fewer people!
