Couldn't wait for the weekend . . .

 . . . for ribs.  Yesterday was the first time I smoked with beech.  What a clean wood!

Happy summer smokin' this weekend.

I've never used Beech wood, Garth.  Guess I'll have to try it!  Where did you get it?

Got it as part of a sample pack from Maine Grilling Woods.  They call it Northern Beechnut.  It came a little drier than I'd like, but smoked up well without combustion.
