I'm getting a #3 and was wondering what I should be use ing chunks or chips , I have been reading and not sure what to use . And if I use chips do I have to refill it while smoking? And how much to use for chips or chucks ?

I have a #1 but I believe all the Smoking-It smokers work better with wood chunks. Chips burn faster and you may have to add more during the first few hours. You get a longer, more consistent smoke with chunks.

Chunks provide a more stable, long lasting smoke ... chips can be used (with the chip screen accessory) but I think you'll find that chunks are both cost effective and provide a more robust smoke flavor.
