Northern newbie

Hi ! Greetings from Northeastern Québec ! Chilly and still near freezing.... but nothing stops this retiree from going trout fishing in a lake once the ice has sunk. I should just leave them on the gallery because Québec has 155 wildfires going right now, with over 100 out of control. This summer ( if it comes ), I want to catch a sturgeon on the St-Lawrence and smoke some pieces, it's absolutely grrreat ! Stripers are here after a 50 year absence, but not allowed yet... one day...... Have a nice summer and thanks for your time ! - Gary.

Welcome to the forum Gary from SE Arizona. Sorry about the fires.  Bad news for sure.  As for your chilly days, I could stand a few of those about now. Let us know how the fishing goes and how you smoke the catch!

Welcome from BC, Garry.  Let us know how you make out with your fish.  As my friends want to give me trout to smoke.
