The extra shipping was the thing that put me in a number two and not get the three,,, but I got to tell you I'm not all that unhappy with the 2 I think it will do just about everything that I want it to do, I could cook for ten people easy with it and its just three of us most of the time so I'm good... but you know how much you need and how many you will be cooking for...

But to answer your question I never saw one...

if you are set on the #3 like I was,  you might have to have a little patience.. and save up for a couple of extra months....
or just get the #2......

Save up for the shipping charges! You will be glad you did. Then you will never say I wish I had the #3.

Not to beat the dead horse, but it would cost you a lot more to upgrade to a larger smoker down the line than to wait a few weeks and do it right the first time.  No matter what, I think you'll find that the Smokin-It's are a true investment as they'll last damn near forever and will provide tons of flavors and memories for you and yours.

Just for the record, I checked the cost of the #3 through both Amazon and Smokin-it direct.  No difference in unit cost but shipping from Smokin-it was $15 or $20 less than Amazon so I feel Steve is shipping at decent rates.  The #3 is a bigger and heavier unit so you get what you pay for.  Well worth it in my opinion.  Just my $.02 worth.

I am in the boat of wishing that I had saved a tiny bit and bought the #3. I am extremely happy with my #2 but sometimes I wish I had a bit more room. Now the #4 is ...well....Damn! That thing is what I really want but way out of my range.
