Pork Shoulder and Sweet corn question
« on: August 10, 2020, 11:44:45 AM »

Had family over yesterday and I decided to do a pork shoulder. Has been awhile since I smoked a shoulder and they never disappoint. Followed my normal 24 hour brine (DM's recipe) and coated with mustard and Meathead/Memphis dust rub. used 7oz's of hickory and smoked at 235. I always buy 8-9lb shoulders and this one finished (195) in 14 hours (12-16 hour range on past smokes). Wrapped in a towel until we ate. Had corn bread and sweet corn for sides.. Was wondering if anyone has tried smoking sweet corn or even just finishing their sweet corn in the smoker?? Did not see any posts on this topic.. Just curious.. Thanks
