Which should I smoke?
« on: April 05, 2019, 03:50:51 PM »
I have pre-seasoned spare ribs from Costco and unseasoned back ribs, where I'll use simply salt & lime.  Since I only have a #1, I'll only be able to smoke one of them.  Regardless of choice, I plan to finish them on the grill, so the million dollar question is which one is better served with the smoker:

A) Smoke spare ribs and finish on grill / Grill only for back ribs
or
B) Smoke back ribs and finish on grill / Grill only for spare ribs

Thanks in advance for any input!

Get a #3 and you won't be forced to make that choice anymore :)

Lol, my poor brisket attempt last week may have set me back on getting approval for an upgrade.  If I nail one of these ribs, you might be on to something.
