New owner from Dallas/Ft. Worth area

Just received my #2 today and am in the process of seasoning it.

Been reading all the threads here on the forum and have learned a few things and am looking forward to learning and sharing even more.

From one Texan to another, congrats on the purchase ... you definitely won't be disappointed.  Best of luck with those ribs and chicken tomorrow; but please note that Texas law does require you to do a brisket post haste.   ;D

Welcome to the party, Phil!  Great purchase decision!  Many happy days of smoking ahead of you, for sure.  And, don't let these guys beat you up too bad about the Cowboys thing...everybody knows America's "real" team is the Packers!  LOL!  8)

Welcome, PhilR!  I too purchased a #2 back in January and have been lovin it ever since!  I usually smoke something every weekend -- the forums here are excellent for tips and recipes to try out.  Cheers, and happy smok'in!
