Title: Vacum Sealers

Thanks for the vacuum sealer recommendations. Used mine for the first time yesterday and am so pleased. Had smoked 3 racks of ribs one day and chicken drumsticks another so now have meat to enjoy in the freezer.

What model did your buy?   I am so glad that we bought a foodsaver.  Not only do I have extra smoke meats in the freezer, but my wife uses it all of time to seal other tings as well!

Great news, Martha!  I think it's about the single-best accessory you can own, for our craft!  I'd be lost without one.  I always smoke more than we need for one meal, so the rest goes straight into the FoodSaver.  I've taken ribs out of the freezer, after many months, and they taste like they did the day I smoked them!  You'll enjoy your new toy! :D
