Stainless coating
« on: December 13, 2014, 11:38:28 PM »
It appears the stainless on the #3 has a kleer coat of some kind on it because of the shiny surface. Does anyone know if this true or not?

I believe there is, on the exterior, just like stainless appliances have.  A mild stainless steel cleaner won't damage it.

Thanks Tony. I used Fantastic on a spot which specifically says stainless and it seemed to remove the finish. Can't figure that out. Just a word of caution to everyone to use a very mild cleaning solution like you suggest.
