I am making beef ribs and want to smoke some baked beans in an iron skillet in my #2? I want to use the smoker for the beans but I have not seen anyone do that before.
Anyone else done that before? Any issues with using the skillet?
Thanks
Kal!

At the top right of the page, in the search box, enter baked beans. There are quite a few postings.

Thanks Sarge!

I think beans in a cast iron skillet, on the top shelf (above the meat) would be great! I'm a huge cast iron fan, and nothing cooks like it. You might even consider pre-heating the skillet to 200, in the oven, before adding your beans and placing in the smoker....it won't take so long to heat.

These are two posts where I have pictures of beans. Both turned out good. Good luck with yours.

I have tried the skillet, but I have done baked beans several times using a 2qt AL pan. I follow this recipe that has worked well every time!
