Howdy from Texas!
« on: May 14, 2018, 11:25:00 PM »
Even after second guessing my decision to go SI.
My #3 arrived today and after a quick unboxing found unit without any type damage after shipping across US from Mi to TX, A few minutes to Installed wheels, A few minutes dusting off of small shipping foam pieces & racks from inside and started first smoke/seasoning process. Was immediately impressed with the overall quality of the smoker but with the reviews & feedback from researching this forum prior to purchasing was like I knew exactly what to expect and do on delivery day for success. Thank you Tony and the many other truthful great folks on SI forum.
Seasoning smoke now completed AND ready for this weekend...
Thanks again Billy C

Weekend? Man get that sucker going 😁 I find chicken to be a nice week night smoke if you do some prep the night before.

But welcome and enjoy your #3!

Welcome Billy from SE Arizona. Enjoy the smoker.  I was at Costco this past weekend and whole packer prime brisket was going for $3.49 per lb.  Hard to beat that price!  Enjoy your model 3!

BOOM!  That's what I'm talking about, Billy!  Nothing like the smell of seasoning a new SI, and the excitement of the first smoke!  What's on the menu for the first run?
