Hello From Pennsylvania

New to smoking.   I have Model #1 and looking forward to my first smoke this week.   Just orders some wood from Smokinlicious (alder, cherry and hickory).    going to try some tried and true salmon recipes and go from there.   Great Products and Great Community is why i bought my Smokin-it.

My first smoke went very well.  Did a dry brine for 8hours. 4:1 brown sugar / salt.  Used Smokinlicious Alder 3.5 ounce block. Very happy with outcome.   Bought vacuum sealer and worked great !   Trying a turkey breast tomorrow.
