Hello from Kentucky!
« on: November 27, 2018, 06:18:58 PM »
Hi, my name is Jim and I'm a Q'-holic. I've been addicted since I was a kid, but always relied on my friends and family to hook me up. I'm branching out and starting to learn how to smoke so I can support my own habit. I'm excited to say the Model#2, my first ever smoker, is arriving in just a few days. I welcome any and all feedback for a newbie!

Welcome to the forum Jim, I got my #2 a couple of months ago, my first smoker, and I love it. There are a lot of folks on here that have plenty of experience and more than willing to offer advise and share recipes. Mark

Congrats and welcome to the family, Jim!  I also have the #2 (a couple years now) and absolutely love it.

Welcome from the Hudson Valley, and count me in the #2 fan club. I've had mine for several years now, and still am amazed at what it can produce. I see serious good eats in your future. Have fun.
