Howdy from a Kentuckian displaced to TX
« on: December 11, 2014, 09:58:05 PM »
Hello all, CV here. As the name implies I originally hail from the Bluegrass state and I'm a huge Wildcats fan. I have been displaced to the Lone Star state by Uncle Sam, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel...retirement is a couple short years away. TX has given me a love of mesquite smoked meat and I can't wait to smoke my own. The wife has a #2 on the way from Santa, so I'm stoked about that. This forum and reviews were a big part of my decision to get an SI. Again just saying howdy, looks like some good folks on here.

Welcome aboard, CV!  You'll be mesquite smoking in no time!  The #2 is a great unit, and I know you'll enjoy it.  Read the sections on getting started, and you'll be ahead of the game when your new friend arrives.

Let us know how we can help!
