Turkey Breast
« on: May 24, 2020, 05:44:47 PM »
Smoked my first turkey breast (8lb) and it turned out great. Brined for 12 hours and coated with a Cajun and Lowry chicken seasoning. Smoked with cherry wood at 275 and it took almost 4 hours (30 min/lb) to hit 165. My wife said it was the best turkey she has ever had. Very moist/juicy. Definitely another smoke to keep in my rotation. May try a full bird down the road.
