Title: Poor man's cover

My expensive Smokenit cover did not last very long so I decided to use the Costco 8 dollar plastic tote. Not sexy but works

It works for you and that is all that matters.  Keeps the sun and rain off the main thing.

I like it ...double duty and so useful for other needs

The standard (not the premium) weber cover for their 22 in grill works perfectly.  The premium model is too long.

That's a great idea.  Better than my not so glamorous solution for my SS grill.  I got tired of buying grill covers which last a few seasons at best so I use Home Depot heavy duty black rolled plastic to cover my grill.  This has lasted 31/2 years in the sun without issue.  Since it's flat I use a piece of clothesline tied around the mid-section to hold it down.
