Title: New owner from Michigan - model 1

I bought the model 1 last week after some recommendations. A very friendly user on reddit, who I have learned is a user here (LarryD) gave me great detailed responses to all my questions, thanks again my man!

I did my first ever smoke this weekend, an 8lb pork butt and it turned out amazing!

Looking forward to more, we’re already planning our next family meal with it.

Glad you are happy with your #1.  I got mine to take camping.  Hopefully camping will be allowed sometime this year.
