White Castle
« on: November 04, 2015, 07:07:12 PM »
This is what happens when you don't have a White Castle within 4 to 6 hours.

First try, worked out nice on the gasser.

1 lb meat (made to small 7 patties)
salt pepper
rolls
1 large onion chopped (use two!)

3 mins per side on high heat in griddle, let rest and steam over onions after that.

Rest rolls on top to steam too.

Foil and rest until people are ready to eat.

Look pretty good John!  Have White Castle's close by but I'm sure these will be much healthier for you!  Wife loves Sliders so this will be on the list of things to try.  Thanks for the idea!

I knew someone would notice no holes:)  This 1lb of meat got me 7 patties, they could have been smaller, but I bet WC churns out 15 minis per lb of meat, maybe even 20 patties.

The steamed onions make it!

Wife loves Sliders so this will be on the list of things to try.
We'll do a slider bar for some parties where I make a dozen toppings for the sliders and let people make their own combinations.  Grilled pineapple, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, avocado, pastrami, caramelized onion..... One of my favorite sliders is a Philly cheese steak on top of my burger patty.
