Cheeseburger with a twist
« on: April 06, 2014, 05:26:49 PM »
So I have two 16 year old boys...  twins.   They can pack the food way.  We went out for burgers at a local burger bar and grill.  One of the boys ordered a cheeseburger called "The GLUTTONY".  Two burger patties that have to be close to 1/2 lb each, stacked with bacon and cheese. Topped with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns.

We have an outfit locally that has a monster burger too. It starts out with 1/2lb patty, the bun is about 1/2lb and it literally takes 4 pieces of cheese to cover the meat. You can order it with all the regular toppings, but you have to eat all the toppings (if you order it) to qualify for the picture on the wall, lol. The bothersome thing is, when they serve the burger, they put a bucket on the floor next to you, for obvious reasons.

This place has the "contest burger" too.  The 1-2 pounder above isn't it.  The contest burger is a 5lb monster.

The one above amazed me in two ways.  1. the size.  2. and more intriguing was the grilled cheese sandwich on the bottom and another on the top acting as a bun.
