Congrats, Randy! With another munchkin on the way you'll need the extra space the #3 provides. I've fed a max of about 18 for one smoke session (brisket, link Italian sausage, chicken thighs) so it will have the capacity you're looking for. Down the road, there are accessories that will come in very handy but the #3 will do you right straight out of the box.
