We have several huge old vines on our property. Wife trimmed a dead 3" vine off a large oak, so I thought I would give it a try.
All I can say is some of the best ever. Adds a little citrus to the Oakridge BBQ sweet rib rub that we prefer.

Growing up in rural Ohio, we had vines growing all through the trees. It was the late 1950's. Johnny Weismueller was popular on Saturday morning movies. Guess what I did as a dumb kid after watching?

Same here Sarge. In Louisiana we swung across ravines filled with (real) quicksand. Probably weren't grape vines, thankfully. 😁
