Caster

My smoker has a caster issue. If i am not mistaken inside the leg, there should be a spot welded nut that hold the bolt on the caster. I believe my issue is the nut came unwelded and not i cannot remove the caster. See attached photo.

I would like to resolve the issue for now, in the near future i am removing the casters and putting the smoker on a cabinet at a higher position so there will be no need for casters but until than i do need them.

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I would send the photo to Steve and get his advice.  If/when you get the caster off, clean all components well and try using JB Weld to repair.  Amazing stuff.
