James Jerky Dryer power adapter
« on: July 12, 2020, 11:08:05 AM »
Somehow I managed to cut the cord on the power adapter for the jerky dryer.

I didn’t see any for sale on the smokin it website.

Does anyone know if I could purchase a new one, or point me to an amazon listing for the same thing?  I know it’s just a computer fan in a fancy container, so I’m sure the power adapter is pretty easy to find.

Thanks

Look for a camera 12v power supply.  Just have to make sure the end is same and polarity is same.

Actually if what you have in the photo is working just cover it with electrical tape. Before you did the repair you could have slipped on some heat shrink tubing, run it up over the white connections and shrunk it.

Thanks everybody, I got it to work, but it’s just a temp solution.  I found plenty on amazon, that are actually adjustable for the voltage, and the connection for $12
