If any of you are tired of ads on your computer, AG has a birthday special. I started with the free version a couple of years back and found it better than the free versions of AdBlock (just my opinion) and last year got the paid version.  Anyway, for what it's worth, here is a link:

I use chrome and uBlock Origin (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm)

It's free and does a great job.  It's very rare that an ad will get through and equally rare that it causes any problems with a site.

I have read great reviews about uBlock on various forums but not until after I purchased a lifetime subscription to AG. So far, AG has not given slowed down my computer.   I run the free version on my iPhone.
