Some help for the newbies like me.

I've been searching for help and somethings to answer questions. Please if anyone has links they use to help or have helped them please post. If your not sure how to do that. Go to the page, go to the top where the address is and right click, hit copy, come back here, hit reply and then right click and paste.

Great chart, Schway!  Always great to have a reference like this!  Ed posted all of my "go to" sites for info.  I particularly like www.amazingribs.com; Meathead is a bbq nerd who likes to post the science behind most of his theories...I like that.  Don't just tell me what "works," tell me why it works (but that's just me).

Two that I like (mainly because I REALLY want to go to his BBQ University up in Colorado Springs) are by Steven Raichlen:
